About me
I wrote my first novel at age three.
It was an illustrated epic titled Cats, Cats, Cats and it consisted of a single word — I’ll let you guess which one — in various quantities and configurations across 12 pages. Riveting.
I may not have garnered great commercial success with my literary debut, but I did discover a love for storytelling. I’ve been on a quest to hear and share great stories ever since. Four years on my high school speech team taught me to compose and convey words just so in order to move an audience to tears or inspire them to action. My undergraduate degree in multimedia journalism taught me how to ask the right questions to get the right answers — and then how to arrange and expand on those answers to create a compelling and accurate story.
My career in content marketing has taught me to translate complex subjects into digestible, engaging content; craft comprehensive campaigns that integrate film, writing, and design; establish a clear, consistent brand voice; and drive conversions through intentional copy.
Whether they take the form of a genre-defying novel or an eye-catching infographic, I believe that stories are powerful. As much as I love to tell them, I strive to consume them — through books, films, podcasts, and occasionally, really bad reality television.
“To pay attention, this is our endless and proper work.”
